Starting this week, VFW Radio will begin its new special feature on "Outstanding Posts" on the nationally syndicated talk show The National Defense.

Each week, the special segment will honor active Posts across the nation that have gone above and beyond. Whether big or small, these posts have made a profound and positive impact on their communities and in the lives of veterans, service members and their families.

The National Defense is hosted by Jerry Newberry and Randy Miller. It is the only nationally syndicated talk radio show that focuses exclusively on topics concerning today's active-duty military, veterans and those who support them.
